Normality of hydrated oxalic acid,N=W of oxalic acid/equivalent wt.×1000/v(ml).........(1)
oxalic acid equivalent mass
=Molecular mass/basicity=126/2=63 g/equiv..(2)
we put (2) on (1).
so we get,
Normality=6.3/63×1000/500
=0.1×2
=0.2 gmol/litre
Normality of hyadrated oxalic acid is 0.2 gram moles per litre.

Answer:

Normality of hydrated oxalic acid,N=W of oxalic acid/equivalent wt.×1000/v(ml).........(1)

oxalic acid equivalent mass

=Molecular mass/basicity=126/2=63 g/equiv..(2)

we put (2) on (1).

so we get,

Normality=6.3/63×1000/500

=0.1×2

=0.2 gmol/litre

Normality of hyadrated oxalic acid is 0.2 gram moles per litre.
