Molar mass of CO2 = 44g/mol

Number of moles of CO2 present in 88g  of CO2 =  88g/44g mol-1

= 2 moles

1 mole of CO2 contains 2 moles of Oxygen atoms. Hence 2 moles of CO2contains 4 moles of Oxygen atoms

1 mole of oxygen contains 6.023 X 1023atoms of oxygen

4 moles of oxygen contains = 4 X 6.023 X 1023

= 24.092 X 1023

= 2.4092 X 1024 atoms of oxygen

Therefore 88g of CO2 Contains 2.4092 X 1024 atoms of oxygen

hope it helps

Answer:

Explanation:

molecular mass of CO2=12+32=44

no. of moles =given mass /molar mass

now its simple ,

88/44 =2

no. of moles =2

now the number of atoms of carbon =2 x 6.022 x 10^23

                                                                =1.2044 x 10^24 atoms

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MY FRIEND
