Given = 24g

Atomic weight of carbon = 12g

No. of moles = given weight / atomic weight

= 24/12

= 2 mol

Now,

No. of moles = no. of atoms / Avogadro's number also.

So,

2 = no.of atoms / 6.02 × 10^23

No. of atoms = 12.04 × 10^23

Rythm14: change the atomic mass to 44 not 12
Rythm14: then it will be 44/12
Rythm14: thats 3
Rythm14: then 3 X 6.023 X 10^23
Rythm14: that is 18.069 x 10^23
Humanbeings: wrong
Rythm14: ???????
Humanbeings: it should be 24/44
Rythm14: yeh im so sorryyy ;_;
Rythm14: so then u multiply 1.8 w/ 6.023 X 10^23

Explanation:

given weight= 24g

atomic weight of carbon: 12g

nos. of moles: given weight÷ atomic weight

24÷12

=2 mole

therefore, nos. of atom = 12.04*10^23

Humanbeings: Can't you see CO2 written in question?
Humanbeings: You are considering only C atom
Humanbeings: Are you blind?
