calculate the number of atoms in a cubic based unit cell having one atom on each corner and two atims on each body diagonal.

contribution of each atom at the corner = 1/8
contribution of each atom at the body = 1
No of atoms = 1 + 1 =2

=> Contribution of each atom at the corner = 1/8

=> Contribution of each atom at the body = 1

=> No of atoms =1+1=2
