1 ampere current flows through a conductor ,when a charge of one coulomb flows through it in 1 second.

Number of electrons in one coulomb of charge = 1/1.6 x 10-19

= 6.25 x 10 18

Thus 6.25 x 10 18 electrons flowing per second constitute 1ampere current.
