No : of moles = Given volume / Molar = volume

Given volume = 11.2 litres =

Molar volume = 22.4 litres

No: of moles= 11.2 / 22.4 = 0.5 moles

No: of molecules = No: of moles x Avogadro number

= 0.5 x 6.022 x 1023

= 3.011 x 1023 molecules of

= CO ²
