Given :

34 grams of NH_3

To find :

Calculate the number of moles

Solution:

Atomic mass of Nitrozen = 14 u

Atomic mass of Hydozen = 1 u

Formula :

\text{number of moles}=\frac{\text{Mass of element}}{\text{Molar mass of element}}

Mass of NH_3= 34 grams

Molar mass = 14+3 \times 1

Molar mass of NH_3=17 grams

So, Number of moles = \frac{34}{17}=2

Hence The number of moles in 34 grams of NH_3is 2
