1. 1 metric tonne = 10*6 grams (10 raised to the power 6)
    
     1 mole of aluminium = 27gms
      X moles                   =  1.46 x 10*6 gms
   
     X = (1.46 x 10*6) ÷ 27
     X = 0.054 x 10*6 moles or 5.4 x 10*4 moles

2.  1 mg = 10*-3 g
     1 mole of ca = 40 gms
      X moles      =  7.9 x 10*-3
      
       X = (7.9x10*-3)÷40
       X = 2x10*-4 moles (approx)
