1 mole of CH4 = 16 grams

48g of CH4 = 48/16 = 3 moles

CH₄ + O₂---------------> CO₂+ H₂O

Balanced eq= CH₄ + 2O₂-------------> CO₂+2H₂O

in this equation we can see 1 mole of CH₄ gives 1 mole of CO₂

So we can say that 3 moles of CH₄ gives 3 moles of CO₂

That is 3CH₄ + 6O₂-------------> 3CO₂+6H₂O

So no. of moles of CO₂ = 3 moles
