Solution:

The formula for the number of photons be

N= E×λ/h×c

Putting the above values

N=1J×3960×10⁻¹⁰/(6.26×10⁻³⁴)×3×10⁸

N=210.86×10¹⁶

Therefore the number of photons be 210 ×10¹
