we can see first bond formes between 2 atom is a sigma bond
n the 2nd bond will be pi bond
third bond between two atoms is also a Pi bond
double bond consists of a sigma and a Pi bond
in the first structure there is a Pi bond possible
∴ there r 17 sigma bonds
we know Pi bonds (6n+2-N)/2
n = number of atoms that can form sigma bonds
∴here n=6
N = number of valence electrons total in the molecule
⇒4*6+12=36
∴ no of pi bonds = (6*6+2-36)/2=1
again,
in the 2nd staructure there are 18 sigma bonds
