1- Uttar Pradesh because it's a part of indo gangetic plain in which there are abundant minerals
2- Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh partly in Gujarat because these soils are made up of volcanic eruptions and lava flow and are found dry
3- forest and mountainous soils as we find many trees and forests here and mountains
4- laterite soil....is a rock type soil which supports yield only when other nutrients are added by manures and fertilizers
5 - red and yellow and alluvial soils laterite soils because the soils in kerals are acidic and low in CEC and have low underground water.

Hope this helps

Hello yaar,

1. Alluvial soil is generally found in the northern plains of India. They have been deposited by three important Himalayan rivers:- Indus, Ganga and the Brahmaputra. It is also found in some of the Eastern coastal plains. North-eastern states where alluvial soil is found include West Bengal and Assam.

2.Black soil is dominantly found in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. These soils are black in colour and ideal for growing cotton due to which they are known as Black cotton soil. They spread over north-west Deccan plateau and is made up of lava flowing there.

3. In Jammu and Kashmir Forest and Mountainous soils are found. These soils are found mostly in the hilly and mountainous areas mostly in the himalayan regions of India.

4. Laterite soils are suitable for cultivation with adequate use of manures and fertilizers. In these soils the humus content is low because most of micro-organisms are not present.

5. Red and yellow and alluvial type of soils are found in Kerela. Mostly kerela comprises of red and yellow soils while alluvial soils comprise of very little amount of Kerela.
