molecular mass of oxygen , m = 32g
we know that 32 g of oxygen contain = 1 mole
so ,
1 g of oxygen contain = 1/32 moles
so,
12 g of oxygen contain = 12*1/32
= 3/8 moles
or. 0.375 moles
