Percentage of H= 3.06%,

Percentage of P = 31.63%,

Percentage of O = 65.31%

Percent composition by mass = \frac{Mass of the element in 1 mole of compound}{Molar mass of the compound}×100

Molar mass of Phosphoric acid H_{3}PO_{4} = 3(1)+1(31) +4(16)

H_{3}PO_{4}= 3 + 31 + 36

H_{3}PO_{4}  = 98 gmol^{-1}

Percentage of H = \frac{3}{98} ×100 = 3.06%

Percentage of P = \frac{31}{98} ×100 = 31.63%

Percentage of O = \frac{64}{98} ×100 = 65.31%

Percent composition by mass of H,P,and O in phosphoric acid is 3.06%,  31.63%,  65.31%
