Given,

  • The capacity as a cuboidal tank is 50000 litres of water.
  • Length of Cuboidal tank = 2.5m
  • Height of Cuboidal tank = 10m

To Find,

  • The Breadth of Cuboidal tank.

Solution,

Length of Cuboidal tank = 2.5m

Height of Cuboidal tank = 10m

The capacity as a cuboidal tank is 50000 litres of water •••(Given)

50000 litres

[1000 litres = 1m³]

50000 litres = 50 × 1000 litres

50000 litres = 50 × 1m³

50000 litres = 50m³

The Volume of Cuboidal tank = 50m³

→ Length × Breadth × Height = 50m³

→ 2.5m × Breadth × 10m = 50m³

→ 25m² × Breadth = 50m³

→ Breadth = 50m³/25m²

Breadth = 2m

Required Answer,

The Breadth of Cuboidal tank is 2m.
