Given that mass of sugar = 20 g

Volume of solution = 200 ml

Density of water = 1.00 g/ ml

Density = mass / volume

Mass = volume *density

=200 ml * 1.00 g/ ml

= 200 g

Mass percentage = mass of solute / mass of solution ]*100

= 20g/ 200g ]*100

= 10%
