Calculate the percentage of concentration in which 5 grams of sugar is added to 50 grams of water

Mass of solute(sugar)=5g
Mass of solvent(water)=50g
Mass of solution=5+50=55g
Concentration of the solution=(mass of solute/mass of solution) *100
(5/55)*100
=9.09%
