calculate the potential at point p due to a charge of 4×10^-7 C located 9 CM away.(ii) hence obtain the work done in bringing a charge of 2×10^-9 from infinity to P does the answer depend on the path along which the charge is there brought.

since,V=kq/r

V=9×10^9×4×10^-7/9×10^-2=4×10^4V

ii) Vp- Vinfinity=w/q

since Vinfinity=0

Vp×q=w

w=8×10^-5J

no it don't depend upon the path follow because electrostatic force is a conservative force
