Calculate the potential energy of an object at 15m height and of mass 40kg . Also, Fibd its kinetic energy half way down

Hey friend..
Here is your answer..

Potential energy = mgh
=40*10*15
=6000 joule

Now, by third eq. Of motion
V^2 - U^2 =2gh
V^2 =2*10*15
V^2 =300 m/s

Kinetic energy =1/2mV^2
=1/2*40*300
=20*300
=6000 joule
