use formula power =mgh/t...200×10×9.8/4.9. =4000w and change it in h.p by dividing it by746

hsachin9: Power=work/time
adiity1a: according to work energy theorem ..the amou t of energy spent is equal to amount of work done

Answer:

4000 w i.e 5.37 horse power

Explanation:

since power = work done / time

therefore , power = mgh / t

power = 200×9.8×10 / 4.9

therefore power = 4000 watts

to convert it into horse power, divide it by 746

4000 / 746 = 5.37 hp ( approximate value)
