using the formula,

pressure = (density)(height)(g)

pressure exerted by 68 cm of water column

=(1000)(68/100)(10)

=6800 Pascal

100000 Pascal= 76 cm hg

1 Pascal = (76/1000000) cm hg

=> 6800 Pascal = (76/100000)6800 cm hg
