The pressure exerted by the cuboid box on the floor in three different ways are 1/6 Pa , 1/12 Pa and 1/18 Pa .

  • Pressure exerted by a body = (total force exerted by the body) / (surface area)
  • Pressure exerted on 15 * 10 base = 25 / (15*10) = 1/6 Pa
  • Pressure exerted on 30 * 10 base = 25 / (30*10) = 1/12 Pa
  • Pressure exerted on 15 * 30 base = 25 / (15*30) = 1/18 Pa
