Stock: The resources which have the potential to satisfy human needs but the human beings have not the appropriate technology to use them are termed as stock. for example water is a compound of two inflammable gases that is hydrogen and oxygen which can be used in the form of energy
Reserves; reserves are the subset of stock which has the potential to satisfy human needs but still they have not used it means they have used only for some extent. for example water of river have the potential to use the water as hydroelectric energy but they are used on it for some extent and preserve them for future generation

stock means if you more save to needed are called stock reserve means if less substance are you and you work long time
