Given :

Mass of Object = 40 kg

Weight the Object = 40 N

Area = 200 cm²

= 0.002 m²

To Calculate :

Pressure exerted by the Object

Formula Used :

pressure (p)\:  = \:  \frac{thrust(f)}{area(a)} \\  \:

Procedure :

 \:  =  \:  \frac{40}{0.002}  \\  \\  =  \frac{40 \times 1000}{0.002 \times 1000 }  \\  \\  =  \frac{40000}{2}  \\  \\  = 20000

Pressure = 20000 Pa
