atomic no.(Z) = no of electrons or protons.

mass no. (A) =no. of protons + neutrons

Z = 20 =ELECTRONS =PROTONS

A =NEUTRONS + PROTONS

40 = neutrons+ 20

40 - 20 = neutrons

: 20

NO OF ELECTRONS = PROTONS= NEUTRONS = 20

ELECTRONIC CONFIGURATION = 2 , 8 ,8 2
