let the ratio be m:n
(x,3)=(3m-4n)/m+n, (2n+6m)/m+n

3 =(2n+6m)/m+n
3m+3n=2n+6m
n=3m
m/n=1/3

ratio=1:3

(i)x=3-12
x=-9
