Let a,a,a-3 be the lengths of sides of triangle

perimeter = a+a+a-3
= 3a-3
3a-3 = 27
a = 27+3/3
a = 30/3
a = 10
Therefore,
a = 10
a - 3 = 10 - 3
= 7

Hope this clears ur doubt
