calculate the ratio of gravitational force and electrical force between proton and electron in a hydrogen atom. is mass of proton is 1.67 into 10 to the power minus 27 kg and radius of hydrogen atom is 0.53 angstron..

The gravitational force between neutron and proton is
Fg=Gm1m2r2=6.67×10-11×1.6×10-27×9.1×10-310.53×10-102=3.46×10-47N

And the electrostatic force between them is
Fe=q1q24πε0r2=-1.6×10-19×1.6×10-194πε0×0.53×10-10=-8.19×10-8N

Negative sign indicates attractive force so we will ignore negative sign since gravitational force is also attractive force.
So the ratio is
FeFg=8.19×10-83.46×10-47=2.37×1039
