Calculate the resistance of an aluminium cable of length 10 km and diameter 2.0 mm if the resistivity of aluminium is 2.7 x 10-8 ωm

l = 10km = 10^4 m d = 2 mm = R = 1mm = 1* 10^-3 m rho = 2.7 * 10^ -8  rho metre. area = pie * r^2                = 3.14 * ( 1* 10^-3)^2                     = 3.14 * 10^-6 m^2 resistance = rho * l ÷ a              = 2.7*10^-8 * 10^ 4 ÷ 3.14 * 10^-6            = 2.7 * 10^ -4 ÷ 3.14 * 10^-6              = 86 ohms (ans.. ..)    hope it helps.
