Given :-

P = Rs. 6250.

R = 4%.

T = 6 months = 1/2 yr.

We have to obtain S.I.

Using SI formula,

\begin{gathered}S.I.= \frac{PXRXT}{100} \\ = \frac{6250X4X \frac{1}{2} }{100} \\ = \frac{625X2}{10} \\ = \frac{1250}{10} \\ =125.\end{gathered}S.I.=100PXRXT=1006250X4X21=10625X2=101250=125.

Hence, SI for the given Principle will be Rs. 125.

Let us also calculate the amount after 6 months.

AMOUNT = P + SI

= 6250 + 125

= 6375

Hence, the Simple interest will be Rs. 125 and amount will be Rs. 6375.

Hope this helps you

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: principal=rupees 6250

time: 4 years

rate:15%

Simple Interest=P×R×T/100

= 6250×4×15/100

=rupees 3750.

ANS: rupees 3750
