Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

vo = 7.352 km

● Explanation -

Orbital velocity of the satellite is -

vo = √[GM/(R+h)]

vo = √[6.67×10^-11 × 6×10^24 / (6.4×10^6 + 10^6)]

vo = √(4×10^14 / 7.4×10^6)

vo = √(54.054×10^6)

vo = 7.352×10^3 m

vo = 7.352 km

Hence, the speed of a satellite in an orbit is 7.352 km.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
