Hey !!

Critical angle in the medium, ic = 45°

           So, refractive index, μ = 1/sinic = 1/sin 45°

          ==> μ = √2

Refractive Index, μ = c₀ / Cm

     √2 = 3 × 10⁸ / Cm

   Cm = 3 × 10⁸  / √2

       = 2.1 × 10⁸ m/s

Yes, critical angle for a pair of media depends on wavelength, because μ = a + b / λ², where a and b are constants of the media.

Good luck !!
