10 volume solution of H22 means that 1 litre of this is H2O2 solution will give 10 litre of oxygen at STP.2 H2O2 (l) ➡ O2(g) + H2O (l)2❌24 gm 22.7L at STP68gm On the basis of above equation 22.7 litre of O2 is produced from 68 gram H2O2 at STP 10 litre of O2 at STP is produced from(68❌10)➗22.7 =29.9 gm =30 gm H2O2.Therefore strength of H2O2 in 10 volume H2O2 solution = 30 gm/L = 3 % H2O2 solution.

Volume strength is one of the critical numerical topic in the inorganic chemistry..

Basically volume strength is the volume of oxygen gas released by the decomposition of H2O2..

10 Vol H2O2 has 3.29g/l strength which has 0.32% percentage strength..

The calculation of the above can be seen in the below chart with the formula..

Numerical in this topic can be asked in different ways..i. e.,

It involves following conversions

Strength to Volume strength

Volume strength to strength

Strength to percentage strength

Percentage strength to Normality or molarity

Volume strength to Normality or Molarity

So, the above mentioned could be various ways of asking the questions..

I have made a very simple chart which is useful in calculation of above mentioned..
