Solution:-Tension will he same in complete string.

Tension always pulls ,it never push.

So it will put both the blocks upwards.

In opposite to it ,there will be gravitational force which will act in opposite direction of tension.

so on making equation we get

T-m1g=m1a......I)

m2g-T=m2a....ii)

adding both we get

g(m2-m1)=(m2+m)a

a=(m2-m1)g/(m1+m2)

now put this value of acceleration in i)

T-m1g=m1(m2-m1)g/(m1+m2)

T=g{m1m2-m1×m1+m1×m1+m2m1}/(m1+m2)

T=(2m1m2g)/(m1+m2)

this will be the required tension
