Hours = 480/60

= 8

5:30pm +8 hours gives us 1:30am the next day .

14.When it is east to prime meridian the time decreases . The reason is Sun rises at east . Meaning Sun first shows up at east and finally travel and show up in the west.

If u have given east .

50° = 200 min

Hours = 200/60

= 3 hr 20 min

So , towards east , 12:00 noon - 3hr 20min

gives 8:40 am.

So , towards west , 12:00 noon +3hr 20min

gives 3:20 pm.
