√3y = √72 y²

Divide both the side by 'y'.

=> √3 = √72 y

=> √3 = 6√2 y

=> y = √3 /6√2

=> y = (√3 × 6√2 ) / 72

=> y = 6√6 / 72

=> y = √6 /12

Ans. = √6 / 12

Hope it helps!
