Calculate the volume of 80% H2SO4 by mass (density =1.8 gm/cc) that is required to prepare one litre of 20% H2SO4 by mass (density =1.25 gm/cc).

mass of h2so4 is 98g
so, 80%of h2so4 is 98×80/100=78.4
density= mass/volume
therefore,1.8=78.4/volume
volume= 78.4÷1.8= 43.55cc
