1/ λ = R[1/n₁² - 1/n₂²]

For second line of Lyman series
n₁ = 1 and n₂ = 3

1/λ = R[1/1² - 1/3²]
= 8R/9

λ = 9 / (8R)
= 9 / (8 × 1.097 × 10^7 m^1)
= 102.5 nm

∴ Wavelength of second line of Lyman series is 102.5 nm
