Calculate the work done in lifting 200kg of water through vertical distance G=9m

Given,
mass=200kg
height(displacement S)=9m
Work done=F*S
Force=mass*acceleration due to gravity(g).
Force F=200*10
W=2000*9=18000J or 18kJ.

Hi friend! !

the work done by lifting water is =force X displacement
=(mass X gravity ) X displacement
=(200X10) X 9
=2000 x 9 Joules
=18,000 joules
