Calculate the work done in lifting a 200kg of water through a vertical distance of 6 m.
Assume g = 10 m/s^2

Work done= potential energy

Work done = mgh

Work done= 200×6×10

Work done= 1200J (or) 12kj.

F=mg

F= 200×10=2000N

Work Done=f×s

=2000×6

=12000J
