since the work is done against gravity hence work = -mgh = 5 x 10 x 1 = -500J

A VERY CHEERFULL MORNING..

W = mgh

g ==10 m/s^2

h= 1 m

W = 5 × 10 × 1

W = 50 J

if g = 9.8m/s^2

then ,

W = 5 × 9.8 × 1

W = 49 J

I HOPE IT HELPS U !
