mass = 20 kg

u = 5m/s

y= 2m/s

W = ?

W = F xs

v2_u²

= ma

(2) -(5)2

{Solution}

Given :-

  • Force acting on body is 200N
  • Distance covered by body is 15m
  • Making an angle 60°

To find :-

  • Work done by body

Formula to know :-

When the displacement of the body makes an angle

θ with applied constant force Then work done by constant force is F given by

Work done = F.S cosθ

  • S = displacement
  • F = force

______________________________

Solution:-

If body travels in a straight line then Displacement = Distance

S = 15m

F = 200m

cos60° = 1/2

Work done = F.S cosθ

Work done = 200 × 15 × cos60°

= 200× 15 × 1/2

= 100 × 15

= 1500J

Work done by body is 1500J
