Required total work is equal to the total kinetic energy of the truck.

so we have to covert 60km/h to m/s first

then it will be 60×5/18=150/9m/s

so the K.E =1/2mv^2

1/2×1800kg×(150/9m/s)^2

1/2×1800×150/9×150/9

900×150/9×150/9=500000J or 500KJ

Hence the required work is 500KJ
