Given -

Height of cylinder = 5cm

Radius of cylinder = 2cm

To find -

Total surface area of cylinder

Solution -

By using the formula of total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r + h)

Substituting the values -

→ 2 × 22/7 × 2 (2 + 5) cm

→ 2 × 22/7 × 2 (7) cm

→ 88/7 × 7 cm

(now 7 will get cancelled out with 7)

→ 88 cm²

\therefore The total surface area of cylinder is 88 cm²
