First of all,
Atomic mass of N₂ = 14 u
Given mass of N₂ = 28u
∴Moles of N₂ = Given mass/Atomic mass
= 28/14
= 2 moles
We know that 1 mole of any gas occupies 22.4 litres volume at STP conditions.
So, Volume of 28u N₂ gas = 2*22.4 = 44.8 litres
