atomic mass = proton *2
=6*2
=12
thus the element is carbon

hi

to find the atomic mass of an element you should know the number of protons as well as number of neutrons

because,

number of protons + number of neutrons = atomic mass

c = 6 + 6 = 12

therefore, atomic mass of carbon = 12
hope it helps....

sumanth59: i don't understand
sumanth59: its waste i need sum
Anu726: see no. of proton + no. of neutron gives the atomic mass
Anu726: did u get it ?
Anu726: do u know what is neutron ?
Anu726: i edited my answer check it out !
