Calculators are not to be used in this question.
The diagram shows three points L(-2, 1), M(0, 2) and N(3,-2) joined to form
a triangle. The angles a and B and the point P are shown in the diagram.

Answer:

a) FIND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN L TO M OR LM ITS \sqrt{5  P lies on y axis  same line with L so its pont p(0,1) LP distance is 2 units where as MP distance is 1 unit so we found sin \alpha =2/5 & \alpha = 2/5sin( 63.43) degree

b) for this find the slope between mn which equals to -4/3 and find the point of line MN which cuts point at x axis (1.5,0). and from origin to its distance is also 1.5 units and origin to M (OM =2 units ) hence sin \beta = 1.5/2.5

c) use of sin (\alpha +\beta) = sin\alpha *cos\beta +sin\beta *cos\alpha

gives 11/5\sqrt{5 or 0.984
