Charge on Alpha= Q1 = Q2 = 2(charge of proton)  

Distance = r = 3.2 × 10⁻¹⁵ m

Now applying coulomb’s law

F = kQ₁Q₂/r²

  =  (9 × 10⁹) × (4 ×1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹)² / (3.2 × 10⁻¹⁵)²

  = 90 N
