Given conditions ⇒

Height = 40 m.

Time = 5.79 seconds.

Initial velocity = 0

Using the Equation of Motion,

  v - u = at

⇒ v - 0 = 2a × 5.79

⇒ v = 11.58 a.

Also, S = ut + 1/2at²

⇒ 40 = 1/2 × a × (5.79)²

a = 80/33.52

⇒ a = 2.39 m/s².

∴ Velocity by which Cam Newton will run  = 11.58 × 2.39 = 27.63 m/s.

Hope it helps.
