Hello friend

Good evening

Yes it can be written in the form of a rational number as two numbers are repeating and we know that non-terminating repeating numbers can be written in he form of p/q so it can be written in of a rational number.

Let's prove it..

Let x be = 2.5434343... ---------(1)

Multiplying both sides by 100 since 2 numbers are repeating.

100 × x = 100 × 2.5434343...

100x = 254.343434... ---------(2)

Subtract equation (1) from equation (2)

100x - x = 254.343434... - 2.5434343...

99x = 251.8

x = 251.8/99

Hence, it's proved that 2.5434343... can be written in the form of a rational number.

I hope my answer is satisfactory..!!
